What type of workout is it?
Strengthening/ cardio?
How quickly do you see results?

It's a 20min workout (plus 5 mins warm up and 5mins cool down). It comprises strength, cardio and abs moves.
I did it everyday for 30 days (10 days on level 1, 10 days on level 2, and 10 on level 3).
You may not lose loads of weight, because you build muscle and this is heavier than fat, but your body will definitely change shape.
I lost half a stone, but also lost 2% of my body fat, 2.5 inches off my bust, 1.5 from my waist, and 1 inch off my hips, arms and thighs.
I definitely recommend it. Also, take before and after photos!
I am now on Jillian Michaels' other DVDs and continuing to lose inches and body fat.
Do it!

How much room do you need to do it? My living room is pretty small and even with all the furniture pushed out of the way there isn't much room to jump around....

If you have enough room to do a T-shape on the floor (lie down, then put your arms out all crucificion-like), then you have enough room to do Shred. Oh, and you need to be able to do star-jumps somewhere without banging the light fittings.

Agree with MissT, you will not regret it.

I only got as far as day 16 but wow, could see a difference even then.... I find it hard to find time to do it when nobody is around

You don't need too much space.

Yoga mat and hand weights preferable.

I do a 15 minute warm-up from a different DVD first.

Have been doing it for 5 weeks and lost shitloads of weight.

Thanks for your replies. I reckon I can manage lying down in a T shape, not sure about the light fittings though .....but no excuses, I am going to do it. Is there a particular DVD I should start with which is suitable for beginners?

Actually, no need to answer that....just looked on amazon, while the boss was away from her desk, and ordered the 30 day shred! So what weights do I need..just some 1kg hand weights?

Go Nutella go!
I used light weights of 1.5kg, but they were heavy enough for me as a total fitness beginner. 1 kg should be ok.
What I love about the Shred is that it is only 20 (or so) minutes. Anyone can fit that into their routine, surely! I exercise in front of my dc, they are used to it now.
Let us know when you've received it and completed day 1!

Well, I have just done my first shred! It was OK, difficult but not impossible. I like that it compresses as much into 20 minutes as possible, working lots of muscles at once. So I'll report back in a week. I can't say I'm going to feel much like doing when I get home from work, but I will make that commitment to you MissTFied!

Well done Nutella! It's a good workout, I think. I don't have the space to do much dancing around so I appreciate that she doesn't do that. The length is also good. :)

For those wondering, don't let lack of weights let you put off starting. Just grab some large tins from the cupboard for the first few workouts while you're waiting for delivery, or waiting to get to a shop to buy some. No excuses. Wink

I did 4 days but I was hurting SO much (to the point where it hurt to walk upstairs) that I found it impossible to carry on. Do others get this pain but carry on regardless? Or does it go away? I reckon I could do it every 3rd day but that defeats the object, I think?

Well done Nutella!

You did it it! Excellent! Now just keep on doing it everyday, for 20 mins. I did it after work on my working days, and found myself looking forward to it on the way home, especially if I had a particularly stressful day.

I look forward to your updates!

Itsicy - that pain after 4 days is good! Your body is changing. Work through it and it will get easier (until level 2)!
