Most of my trainers have come from 'Sports Direct'... There's usually a good choice and a variety of prices. Can you go in and try some on until you're happy?

I often come out with a pair Asix's... at various time of their life-cycle with me, they cope with a lot of cycling, gym work, gardening and going through the washing machine!

I'd look on the internet for a training shoe with support.

If you are planning the treadmill or couch to 5K I'd go for a running shoe, otherwise just a cross training shoe.

oh and if going for a running shoe I'd lean towards Asics, Adidas or Saucony and probably steer away from New Balance.

Good on you - didn't realise you were so hot off the mark, got them already! So I'll see you on the LBD bootcamp thread Grin
