I'll join!

I have 3st to lose- determined to get it off by summer, want to ponce about in my old jeans and be able to do up shoes- so fat I struggle to bend!

Whats your starting weight? Mines 12st (UGH) and I'll be starting on New Years day (too much Xmas food in house at mo- plus its my birthday tommorow!)

I'll be doing a ww/dukan stylee diet combined with running (UGH UGH) and 30 day shred DVD (when it arrives, thanks Amazon... Hmm)

How will you be proceeding clpmum? When you starting? Shall we havbe a weekly weigh in day?

I'm in (although I'm only starting at new year!). I'm a bridesmaid in early June and my dress is currently 3 sizes too small! If I don't fit in it I'm in big trouble as they don't make that style anymore so I can't just swap it for a bigger size, eek!!!

I'm in, and want to lose a similar amount by June ready for ball season.

I'm going to try low carbing, and start running again. Once that's sorted I'm planning to get shredding too.

I want to lose 50 pounds by summer. I've not planned how to yet though.

Busy weekend next weekend so will start on Monday 3rd!

I also want to lose 3 stone this year, I go to the gym infrequently and am size 16-18. We got Wii fit a few weeks ago but haven't really got started with it yet. I've looked at the shred DVD, looks a bit scary!

I think Tuesdays are a good day for weigh ins, you've got Monday to reverse the excesses of the weekend.

I don't quite have 3 stone to lose...lost 3.5 stone 2 years ago (but never shifted the last half a stone!) but have since put a stone back on so now have 1.5 stone to lose so I will join in if that is ok?

Last time I did it using Weight Loss Resources and exercise - I actually love exercise and am a bit of a gym bunny but I also love food hence the weight issue Xmas Wink

Am starting next Saturday though - too much tempting food in the house until then.

Oh oh me me me! I'm 13st 5lb so have a similar amount to lose. I'm EBFing DC2 but I've got access to a gym, Wii Fit and Just Dance and a few DVDs so should manage to spare time for exercise. I too tree Weight Loss Resources a couple of years back and found it really helpful. Definitely not starting til next week - in fact I'm off to open the huge box of chocs that's currently calling my name Blush

Sorry - forgot to put my starting weight which I actually won't know until my first weigh-in on Saturday morning but am guessing it is going to be somewhere around 13st 7lbs...and I want to be between 11 1/2 stone and 12 stone (I am tall and big framed so that would take me to a size 12-14 which is perfect for me).

I'll join. Could do with losing 5 stone really. Have been doing Slimming world for two years and only lost 1 stone (keep putting it back on then taking it off a few pounds at a time).

Great that there are so many of us to support each other. How about we all start on or after 2nd jan and do a weekly weigh in on the day that suits best. You've all got me really fired up and motivated now

Can I join in please? My plan was to lose 1 stone per term this year, when I started in September. Managed to shift 12lbs, but have since gained 3 Blush so have only lost 9lbs. Really want to lose 33lbs by the start of the summer holidays. Will be starting when the kids go back to school, with a combination of low-cal and exercise. Good luck everyone.

Can I join please Smile. I have absolutely no idea what I weigh apart from too much. I have a simple plan which involves not eating crap and stop sitting on my derriere all the time. Grin. I am planning to start on 5th January when I go back to work after Christmas.

Hi ladies! Can I come along for the ride?! Dd2 is almost 7 months now so I think I've had enough good grace! 4 stone sounds good but I'd be happy with 2 for a start. I'm not sure of my weight as I weigh myself in pounds am in denial Grin but I think it's about 18 and a half stone Hmm I want to be able to get comfortably into a size 16 (I'm about a 22 right now) I also go back to work at the end of march and need to get back into my size 18 uniform.
I think I'm going to start on Thursday and will post weight then I'm going to do slimfast and try to get running around with the kids a lot more.

Report
clpsmum · 28/12/2010 10:42

I've tried slimfast before and not been very successful with it to be honest, not trying to put you off just want to save you money if I can!
Has anyone tried zumba?

Can I join?

Had DS2 nearly 2 years ago, went on Cambridge diet- lost 2 stone. Regained it all plus some when I went on anti-ds for PND. Now larger than I have ever been.

Hoping to do shred and stop eating chocolate.I used to run 15miles a week(!) but had to stop when the clocks went back as we are really rural adn no street lights. I kept falling over with the potholes.

STarting weight: 15st 7 Blush size 18-20 Blush Blush
