I have just booked to stay at 139 Bath for our anniversary. Anyone been there?

I am now thinking about booking an afternoon at the Thermae Bath Spa and would appreciate any advice.

I have booked one of the thermae packages plus added in an extra treatment which they were happy to do. have been in a couple of times for a look around and it looked really super. Go for afternoon tea in the pump room for something a bit different/special.

If you buy your tea in the Thermae cafe you get 45 minutes extra free.

Great adventure playground for kids in Victoria Park plus Botanical Gardens to walk around.
Colourful hot air balloons drifting across the sky on warm sunny, cycle paths, great restaurants, gastropubs, theatre and festivals.
Wish I was back there smile

The American Museum is lovely. It is up on a hill, gorgeous views sitting gon the terrace, great cafe and good exhibitions. Last year I saw all of Marilyn Monroe's dresses for example. Great for kids too as it is in a mansion with each room from a different era and a basement with dressing up stuff etc.
