Or where else would you recommend? It is for my mums 60th... Looking for good deals in a nice place. We can do midweek and out of season....

Do you want county or city? You could combine with city break to Glasgow or Edinburgh both of which have nice spas in the big hotels. Do you live in Scotland atm?

You can get good midweek breaks to Stobo so you should definitely consider it

I have been to Stobo and it is lovely, the included healthy food was very nice.

I also was at the Crieff Hydro last weekend and they have a very nice adults only victorian spa, I know of others who have been without children and had a great time. The grounds are also really nice.

Not bothered about location as only have time for one day / night away so figure won't be leaving the hotel. Really after a day of pampering. We are in Scotland. My experience of some of the nicer hotels in Gg and Edin is that their Spa facilities aren't very nice. Was also wondering about Crieff but haven't seen any offers...

I'm sure Mar Hall (near Glasgow)was on itison or groupon recently. There is also Cardrona which has a spa

found list here which might give you some ideas

I think the spa at the new Blythwood hotel in Gla is meant to be good..

One Spa at the Sheraton in Edin is supposed to be nice - open air roof top pool.

I haven't been, but I'm sure I saw an ad somewhere that Airth Castle's Spa was doing a 2 people for £99 deal for a Spa Day. No idea what the place is like but maybe worth a look?

If you want an ovenight stay Turnburry is on Groupon today -£150 for overnight for 2 inc breakfast and dinner. Could add on spa stuff. Might end up a bit pricey though,,,,
