Free Photography Session?

Hello

I'm a hobbyist photographer wanting to get into event photography. I am planning on offering a free engagement shoot and if the client is happy with my work then offer a half price wedding shoot too. Is this something that would be of interest do you think?

I'm based in Lincoln and would offer it to the Lincolnshire/surrounding area which has a fair share of already well established event photographers so I'm just trying to find a way in to get more experience.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks
