9 year old and size 14 teenager. matching bridesmaids dresses?

Hi, does anyone know of websites selling matching dresses for adults and children? Ideally vintage style? I can either find one or the other, and I would like matching fabric at least. Wedding is September, so haven't got ages to order in bridal shops, and don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I've seen that website, and I'm very keen on their styles. They don't have the same dresses in adult and child but I could definitely pick a theme from there

Lindy bop do have many styles that come in mini for children which are exactly the same as the adult version.

For a 14 and a 9 year old you'd definitely be better to follow a theme rather than the same dress, a 9 year old will be delighted to wear the same as a 14 year old but it's highly unlikely that the 14 year old will be very chuffed!

LadyV also do a few girls dresses and have adult sizes in the same fabric in various cuts.

Or find a local dressmaker and have something run up for them both?

You'd need to keep away from dress shops, and ask in local fabric shops and haberdashers, or dry cleaners (as their alterations staff can usually sew far more than replacement zips). It's likely to be much faster (and cheaper) than anything the wedding industry offers.
