Tailored shorts not casual shorts?

We have a wedding next week in Turkey.

What's the consensus? I am a bridesmaid, he is a guest.

Ask the bride? If you're a bridesmaid, you must be close enough to ask. I wouldn't do it without checking. Even tailored shorts are a bit casual for most weddings but if it's a casual style of wedding then it should be fine.

We got married abroad, all men wore trousers for the ceremony,, even though we'd said no need to dress up. Most the guys got changed into shorts during the reception, but that was after they'd been for a swim.

Thank you!
She said shorts is fine- but work colleagues (all men) said no way!!

I'd probably still make DH pack trousers as well as shorts, and ask the other blokes before the ceremony, just in case he's the only one planning to wear shorts. Unless he wouldn't mind standing out, in which case, as the bride says it's fine, then it's fine.

I didn't put that very well but hopefully you know what I mean.

We have ordered a linen suit! Thank you :-)

My son was married abroad a fortnight ago. All the men wore suits and then later changed into more casual clothes for the evening disco. No one wore shorts I may add.
