Second Hand Wedding

Is anyone who has got married/getting married in the next year wanting to sell on their things for it? I can't find ANYWHERE online to buy second hand stuff; just to 'rent' it for the nearly new price... and surely people don't want to keep all of the bottles/tealights/decorations they've made?

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask to buy things on here; if not, can someone point me in the direction of a second hand site?

There's a website called sellmywedding or something similar. Ebay is also good as suggested - I sold a whole campsite including tents, air mattresses and fairy lights after my wedding.

dreams I haven't seen any, what sort of titles do they normally have? So something like "your town here wedding bits"? I'll have a look now

monday really? I literally can only find over priced 'shabby chic' things, or places offering to hire out decorations. I could just buy it all new from ikea for less than £100, but I don't want to keep it afterwards!

I'm looking to sell some things! What is it you're after?

If you look on the wedding forums (confetti, hitched etc) most of them have a selling forum. Plus facebook as others have said.

I got lots on ebay. Of course the postage is as much as the items often so you need to keep looking until you get something you can collect easily.

Fratercula Pretty much everything at the moment; we're having a village hall wedding and so I need to try and make it look like a wedding venue... So I guess lots of table decorations, things to hang down from the ceiling maybe? Lots of jars/glasses that I can fill with pretty things hopefully. I'm just spending all my time sighing after Pinterest Weddings!

I'll keep an eye out on ebay now, good point about the postage

We didn't have too many table decorations, but I do have a couple of boxes of.vintage china if that's you're thing? Will need to count exact number of set. Also have bridal shoes and waistcoats for groom and best man. PM me if you're interested

I'm looking for things too, difficult isn't it?!
I actually found some decent bits on aliexpress, bunting etc but it's a bit of a risk and shipping takes a while if you're in a rush

Sorry, I was trying to help you out with local FB sites but of course you don't need to give away your location. Good hunting.

I'm going to have several hundred small jam jars (actually empty baby food jars) going spare after my wedding and you are more than welcome to them. I'm filling them with waterbeads and little waterproof fake tea lights and flowers.

Im in the South West near Bournemouth and they will be available from July so if that's any good, drop me a PM Smile

You could try Freecycle or Gumtree?
