Ideas for Groom's morning of the wedding gift bag please

I'm making a gift bag for my H2B for him to open on the morning of our wedding but need some more ideas of what I can put in it. So far I've got one of our wedding invites (personalised to him, not just the one we sent out to guests!), new socks, new pair of boxers, tissues, mints, mini aftershave. What else could I put in?

Personalised cufflinks? I did this for DH and had pictures of our dog put on them...bit ridiculous, but our dog was our baby at the time! (Still is really, only we have a human baby now too!)

Won't he have all those things already sorted by the morning of the wedding? I don't mean to rain on your parade but surely he isn't relying on you giving him a gift that day to get his socks and boxers sorted out? I think you should only include things (like the mints) which are nice to have but not essential. Maybe you could concentrate more on things which would be nice for the honeymoon - phrase book (if appropriate), swim goggles etc?

unexpected, he won't be expecting anything from me on the day I just thought it would be a nice surprise for him. It's not so much a survival kit, just a few little gifts. He won't think of buying new underwear for himself, if it was up to him he would wear his usual holey socks and 'work' undies! We're going to Disneyland for our honeymoon with DS and I think the only thing H2B would appreciate for that would be a load of Euros Grin

We went to Disney for our honeymoon! Best honeymoon destination ever, so much fun!

It's our second time doodledumdums, we can't wait. Maybe I could put some Mickey ears in his gift bag too!

Mine had a bottle of posh Scotch and a cigar each for him and the best man. Oh, and a little photo book of pictures of the two of us, journey so far type of thing. And a card with a soppy message :)

This is a great idea!

DH is best man at his friends wedding next month. I like the idea of making them both a little bag for the morning.

I'm not buying the Groom socks though Grin (and they won't wear underwear on the day)

I like:
Miniatures for a pre-wedding drink
Tissues
Mints

Anymore suggestions, I am watching eagerly!

I would ditch the socks, tissues, underwear, they are things a mum would give him not a new wife. Some really nice romantic ideas on here though re photos, something for the honeymoon etc. I would aim for personal or romantic rather than practical socks type stuff. Nobody finds socks or tissues interesting

you don't want to start being the wife who buys the socks and pants! I'd add, minitures, some hangover remedy, some red bull, a mini sewing kit (with a note saying "for lost button emergancies"). Perhaps some tired eye type cream, and some of whatever his favourite snack is.
