Thank you cards

just finished these off last night (nearly) and gave DH his few to take into work for people he works with who gave gifts. He just came in and asked why there wasn't a card for 'x' and I said he gave us a card rather than a gift but did come to the evening reception. Should I write a thank you card to say thank you for coming to people as lots just gave a card as we didn't ask for anything?

Yes - it's good manners to write and say thank you for coming, it meant a lot to share our day with you etc etc...

Sending a thank you for being there also means that if they had given you a present and it went astray they would know you hadn't received it. Plus it shows you genuinely meant it that their presence was important to you.
