Hi,

Need some advice. Brother in law is getting married in sept this year in central london at 4.30 pm. ( he has no kids yet)Wink
we have two dd they will be aged 3 and 15mnts at the time of this wedding.

we live in the east midlands, so don't know what to do regarding structure of the day, we would be staying in a hotel ( about a mile away, which is the nearest) as there isn't one at the venue. agghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! ( the church is in mayfair! the reception is in fulham! rush hour i'm sure by the time the service is over! )

its going to be a nightmare isn't it? :(

Any advice? please help!

I assume you are gettng hotel closest to Fulham?

I wouldn't worry about the rush hour - everyone else at the wedding will be having the same problem.

Not sure what other advice i can offer. Have you spoken to your brother-in-law about how they think people are going to get between the two venues, or where the photos will be taken, etc.

Will he be offended if you don't bring the children?

If not, I'd try to arrange for them to be looked after at home (if possible).

Then have a totally fab day in London.

Are you planning to drive between the church and reception, or use the tube?

If driving, you can expect it to be slow, but everyone else will have the same problem.

If using the tube, it will probably be crowded, but you can take your time and let the most crowded trains go and you'll presumably be travelling with other guests, so will have lots of help with carrying DC/bags etc.

You'll be OK , It's only about 8 stops, depending on which are nearest stations to your venues, which will be less than 15 mins on the train.
