Sneaky little storm tomorrow for the south with warnings.

weather warnings

This has snuck in under my radar! Some of the models really develop this, others not so much but this could be quite a fun little storm with thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong to gale force winds.

Could be quite sleety too at times. Brrrrrr.

Nice... confused

Thanks OYBBK!

Well that's a cheeky little bugger of a storm isn't it? I guess its obstacle courses indoors for us tomorrow morning then!

You are welcome grin

As I say, it's news to me! Last I looked we were going to get a reasonable day down here and I was planning on tidying my veggie plot.

DD will insist on going out to jump in puddles I have no idea who she gets it from and wanting to look at the big waves on the beach. confused

We're N Oxon/Northants border, and our firework display tonight was hit by torrential hail! The forecast was for a clear night confused

DameFanny Sat 03-Nov-12 20:56:51

Oo-er.

Still, maybe it'll wash away the horrible smell of spent fireworks that's blanketing us at the moment

That's very naught of it fatsatsuma!

GFS going for some snow tomorrow.

I'm really not convinced tbh! Perhaps some over Salisbury plain and perhaps the tops of the chilterns, if it rains heavily enough.

Will keep this bumped to be annoying informative.

Earlier one or two of the models were showing severe gales for this but they seem to have backed down fortunately, else it would have been a nasty surprise for many.

Oh !
OYBBK - Suffolk? What's the chance of a morning tennis tournament?

Rather slim to none I'm afraid. Unless something very strange happens. Sorry ruby.

rubyrubyruby Sat 03-Nov-12 21:34:27

Great grin

I will have a lie in rather than a 3 hour round trip and 3 hours sitting in the freezing cold!

Oh yay! Good to be a bearer of glad tidings for once!

rubyrubyruby Sat 03-Nov-12 21:41:12

I have just kindly volunteered to do the (longer) tennis fixture leaving DH to do the (nearer) football fixture wink

grin I like your style!

Is it going to be horrible in London tomorrow morning? I'm going on a walking tour, it's going to be miserable isn't it sad

It does look pretty wet I'm afraid.

Perhaps it will sneak itself back into oblivion? But that would upset Ruby's plans!

Littlemisspoorly Sat 03-Nov-12 22:09:20

Was going to take the dogs on a bike ride but I might stay in and watch a movie instead smile

Sounds like a plan! Much better than having to dry wet dogs!

Pascha Sun 04-Nov-12 08:34:01

Well I'm lying in bed with my son snuggled up watching some frankly atrocious weather outside smile

DS was woken by the rain lashing the window this morning. sad

Lots of rain and wind here, and as predicted DD is asking to go down to the beach. I think she'll be disappointed, it's low tide!

niceupthedance Sun 04-Nov-12 08:38:54

We have snow here, north Somerset. Some of it settling now...

TobyLerone Sun 04-Nov-12 08:47:28

Ugh. It sounds nasty outside. Trying to force myself out of bed, but it just doesn't seem worth it.

rubyrubyruby Sun 04-Nov-12 08:55:35

Tennis is off - have fingers crossed for a waterlogged footie pitch too now grin

Seems to be more of a snow maker than I thought, GFS wasn't that far off after all!

Ruby - yay!

TobyLerone Sun 04-Nov-12 10:35:09

There are leaves and water blowing horizontally past my window. Thunder and lightning too.

Sounds exciting!

thekidsrule Sun 04-Nov-12 22:46:08

yep was camping in swanage, hammering rain, thunder lightning, flooding, very windy

That sounds like rather an exciting camping trip! Is it your last one of the year?

thekidsrule Mon 05-Nov-12 19:41:09
