Very nasty. it's the one weather form I truly hate (well, freezing rain is worse). Couldlast into tomorrow's rush hour with dangerous road conditions.

With all the below-zero temperatures we've had lately, I was wondering when we'd get weather warnings of some kind. Freezing fog is not good.

Lol ~ 'tis a reflection of how settled the weather is at the moment! It's just day after day of cold, bit frosty, few days of cloud/meh type weather, occasional sunny day, some fog, then carry on with cold, bit frosty and so on......

Gloria, I like learning about weather (including how extreme weather happens, etc), but I prefer to experience "meh" weather even when it's all dismal and murky. Fortunately, I'm now retired so can avoid the worst, especially icy pavements.

OYBBK, I did specifically inform my DH of the forecast, but I suspect he'll do his usual daily drive to the supermarket first thing tomorrow. The supermarket is just on the outskirts of town, so he won't be driving on fast main roads/motorways, but he doesn't actually need to drive anywhere tomorrow. I get a bit tetchy about people like him who automatically get in their cars even if there's an alternative. He's a very intelligent person, but sometimes seems to have no commonsense at times.

But maybe this weather will do what weather often seems to do here, and bypass us altogether.

Fog warnings for tonight and pollution levels are high as well (the air quality here wasn't great last night ~ not a nice at all)
