A thread not for 'will it be stormy here' questions which can go in here but for specific travel updates.

To get the ball rolling:

Greater Anglia trains are allowing Monday ticket holders to travel tomorrow.

Nothing on there yet, but here's a link for First Buses in Hampshire. I doubt there'll be much warning on the site if they do stop services, usually hits twitter first, but there's no one manning their social media until 9am on Monday.

Lots of info for people travelling in Dorset at the dorsetforyou website.

One specific item from that site - there will be no ferry crossings to the Channel Islands from Poole or Weymouth, but extra crossings on Tue/Wed for Sun/Mon ticket holders.

I just posted this on your original thread, Kitten Smile

Due to fly into Manchester very late on Sunday night, from Spain. Forecast is calm but wet from midnight-3am, someone has suggested the wind may blow us home early - what chance of that, Kitten?

Sorry, didn't notice your Halloween name Blush

How nice to be so immediately known though! Grin

I'm still very much kitten! As soon as the first storm thread is full I'm name changing but dont want to confuse things part way!

I think the jet stream could be a help to you if aTC allow routing that way. Its in a nice position!

Anyone in the Isle of Man, it looks like the Manannan crossings to & from the mainland will be cancelled tomorrow, but the Ben is still scheduled to run. Mind you, I wouldn't fancy that 2am crossing on Sunday night/Monday morning!

Hi, I'm due to travel from Lincolnshire down to Bury in Suffolk on Monday - by car, with 2 small children. Is this madness? Would be leaving in the morning.

As part of the East Midlands posse (group), I'm adding Birmingham and East Midlands airports, not least because my brother is due to fly into EMA around 1am Monday morning.

Tis a little on the mad side TIBHW.

Justaweeone - you are heading away from the storm. If you go set off first thing.

OhYouWickedWickedWitch · 26/10/2013 21:04

flight radar alci posted this on the other thread, so we can watch what it does to flights.

dodo. I would leave it to the afternoon and then you can see what sort of disruption has been caused.

I live in south London and plan not to go into work on Monday (central London) as don't want to get trapped when I can't get home due to trees on the line or something. Is that over cautious?
