We had a drop in night temperature last night, 12 degrees atm but had been 16-17 since the heatwave began. It is a very clear sky, but perhaps it is the sign of changes to come, or just a short blip? .
Supposed to be a lovely sunny weekend with fresher air quality SE
We had a horrible wet day on Monday, but yesterday was nice and I think it is forecast to be nice for the rest of the week. Not scorching hot, but fine and dry with sunshine. Perfect weather for playing with the kids in the park etc, if it is too hot everyone is exhausted.
Thanks OYBBK for the warning We have been incredibly lucky every year for the past few years when we go to Ireland. Last year we got practically the only dry week in the West! Still, if we get a few dry days that will be great.
It's been lovely and sunny down here in SE Cornwall these last few days. Hope it lasts for your holiday OKnotOK.
Weirdly it was grey and cloudy up near Newquay yesterday. I left the house in a thin summer dress and flip flops in the sun at 8am but then was a bit chiily when I arrived at the office in Newquay, then boiling again and enjoying some beach time when I got back home to the south coast. Micro climates are nuts.
