DD has been off her food for nearly a week now. I'm not hugely worried as yet (she's still BF on demand, weeing, pooing, active, developing, etc), but I'm starting to get slightly concerned. We've done baby led weaning and uptill now it's been a huge success.

DH and I both had a bug recently that knocked our appetites on the head for best part of a week, so we're wondering if it could be that - although we were both struck down with diahorreah and DD has been fine at that end. She did have a big sick after a feed during Friday night and again Saturday night (of a scrub the carpet now magnitude).

What's really got me confused is that she does seem hungry, but she'll only eat toast, porridge and breadsticks, rice cakes under duress. Up until last week she was happily tucking into wheatabix, beefburgers, brocolli, potatoes... Now it all gets chucked on the floor

Only other thought is that she might be teething again - she's certainly gnawing on things a lot. If she is it's most likely her top lateral incisor(s). But would that kill her appetite?

So, any ideas - either on how to tempt her to eat again, or on when I should start to worry in earnest? TIA

My 10 month old has started to become more fussy. I also did BLW, but started using spoons a while ago. Like your DD she used to eat everything and now I am struggling a little. I have found that she really enjoys picking up small things now that she can bite on a bit more; raisins, grapes, blueberries. Have you tried meatballs, as they are more firm and can be broken into smaller bits to pick up.

She will start eating again...dont panic yet, just try and find new things for her to eat.
