Help! My eleven month old has gone on hunger strike

Happy baby up to now, eating pretty much everything.

For a week now she has had a bad cough and cold. Today she wouldn't eat any solids - screamed if I even tried to put her in the high chair.

She has been very fussy around solids for a couple of days now.

I gave up and upped the bottles.

Is this normal? What should I do?

Its normal, she is probably feeling babyish ATM and needs bottles for comfort. She may also be to bunged up still and feels as if she is choking when she eats solids. Follow her lead she will let you know when she wants to eat and will probably eat you out of house and home making up for missed meals.

I think she is bunged up and she is soooo clingy!

Normal, I say. Keep giving bottles until she wants to eat again.

Posted on the US thread. Hope she feels better soon.
