after my last question about when do they start spoon feeding themselves, it seems that ds doesnt want us to spoon feed him anymore, but wants to feed himself.
So he is coercing me into blw!
Most things I am ok with - chunks of fruit and veg, pasta, bread etc etc but the protein is getting me stumped. How do I get protein into him through finger foods? I can't give cheese or any dairy or any dairy substitutes, but he found chewing chicken lumps hard. And don't get me started on the mess created through spag bol!!
Any helpful hints on finger food protein ideas?
He is 9 1/2 months old, and we've been told to steer clear of eggs, lentils / chick peas, dairy and soy, so I guess we have to deal with 'proper' meats...
