DD doesn't want to eat!

My DD is 14months old. She ate very well in the beginning. She eats the food that we eat at night and fruit and yoghurt during the day and snacks. If I make something that she can't eat at night she eats her baby food.
BUT
the last 2 weeks she doesn't want to eat. she takes 3 or 4 mouths full of her food and then spits everything out! all that she wants is her milk. Must I be worried or not? Am going to see the HV on Thursday - for her immunisations. will ask her to - but I want your advise MNers.

is she feeding herself or are you spooning in?
if the latter she may do better in control of her own spoon.
(and out of interest what kind of things do you eat that she can't? after 12mo pretty much anything goes)

is it possible she is teething? or sickening for something? my dd1 didn't eat for about eleven days before she had chickenpox.
how is she in herself?

I'm still feeding her myself just because if I leave her to do it she just plays with her food. nothing goes in then.

I give her other food when I make enchiladas or salad or when the food isn't ready when it is her time to eat - sometimes DH gets home late, and I like eating with him and my food must be hot.

yes, I think she may be teething. but otherwise she is very well in herself.

Fantastic book - "My child won't eat" by the La Leche league. Basically often happens at that age and it will pass. Just offer food if she doesn't eat it, it doesn't matter. Maybe cutting down in the milk now she is past 1 year to make her more interested in solids.
