lighter lunch for 10month old?

Hi my dd is 10 months old and has mostly purees/mashed food, with fruit etc as finger foods/snacks.
I have been giving her 2 hot meals, ie spag bol, cauliflower cheese, cottage pie etc every day (lunch and tea). Is this what I'm supposed to be doing? or should she be having a lighter lunch like sandwiches etc and just a main meal at teatime? I'm a bit worried i am feeding her too much!

Thanks
Lynn

i just did a lighter lunch, with occasional 2 hot dinners. its so much work for you doing this!but if you're happy doing it this way, its fine IMO.

Don't worry - in another couple of months, you'll be worrying that she's not eating enough! At that age, my understanding is that they eat if they're hungry and don't if they aren't so you can't really overfeed a baby.

Ds has always (since he was 6 monthsish) had two hot meals a day, normally vegetable casserole for his evening meal, but now it's summer, I give him lighter stuff in the evening, like cheese on toast, followed by his daily banana and petit filou.
