Healthy fats for a 10 month old

I'm concerned my lo is not eating enough healthy fats and think that more fish might be the answer (he is not eating dairy at all currently but is bf)

Neither me nor DH eat enough fish so I really have not got a clue what to do with it. He has had tinned tuna and steamed cod but I was concerned about bones in other tinned fish and what is suitable at this age.

He is BLW and eats pretty much anything now so any other suggestions for where he might be getting or could get the healthy fats from

I really wouldn't worry about it.
If he is breastfed and eating some good food,he'll be fine.

But you can eat the bones in tinned fish - they are soft, you can mash them and they are full of calcium. I gave my ds mashed sardines in baked potato for example.
You can also give supplements, such as mini1Q mixed with yoghurt.

i get salmon in big bags out of marks and sparks, they cost a fortune but you can bung them in the freezer and use them when you need. just unwrap and stick in some foil, a lemon slice and some herbs and put it in the oven for about 20-25 mons. if dd doesn't eat her piece we all get it on sarnies the next day...

i mean if she doesn't eat her whole piece btw, she does like salmon but the fillets aren't small.

My lo eats like a horse - its often him eating our leftovers instead of me eating his!

Thanks again.

Def go with the tinned sardines and mackeral. DD (10mths) loves them. Plaice and a butter sauce goes down well also.
