BLW - highchair, why does he do this???

swing his arm form side to side kncking everything off the tray onto the floor. why??

we're ignoring it at the minute, the dogs think it's fab but what should we do?

Because he can!

He's learning cause and effect really. All you can do is not put so much in front of him at a time to minimise mess.

lol. ii'm not bothered about mess! - tha's what the dogs are for! he he. it's just annoying for us.

agree with soupdragon, don't put so much out. one or two things at a time is fine. dd does this when she's finished, but when she was younger she did it cos she liked it. and we don't have dogs...

One of my twins does this, then spends the rest of mealtime either looking longingly or lunging wildly at her sisters food. Not much you can do really. Mine are just used to eating food off the floor

Mine picks things up, looks at us, then throws it as far as he can. It's cute really. He eats what he wants, then hurls the rest to the the floor.

my ds does this too. especially when he's not interested in eating or when he's done.
I agree with everyone else about only putting out a bit at a time.
(Thank god for dogs, eh?!!)

lol purple! yes i'm sure half the time he's sharing with them! - althou they're out of the room till he's finished normally.

dg - yes he does that as well! lol.

tried less food last night and he looked at the remainder in his bowl as if to say come on then I want to play with you as well! lol. not as much on the floor althou there was some! lol. guess we'll just have to get thru this one.
