Can DD really be this fussy?!

Why is DD (nearly 8 months) not eating anything i offer her?? The only thing she will eat, is toast, carrot, broccoli, yoghurt and porridge. She wont eat any of our meals or various things i make for her. Don't really know what i should do.

Can she be that fussy? Or is it just as its all new to her i.e. different textures. Am i expecting too much too soon?

She isnt even bothered about finger foods i put on her tray, a few weeks back she'd get stuck in now she picks it up bites it then looses interest & chucks it. Confused

Is she teething? It might hurt to bite and so she's off her food for a bit especially if she's eating softer stuff.

Keep giving her bits and pieces and see how she goes. Try soft fruits as well - might work.

My dd refused puree/mash of any kind and has only ever eaten finger foods. She can feed herself a yoghurt with her hands!! I'd just keep offering what you are having but don't blend it in anyway
