7 months old still doesnt eat

I wonder if I could have some advice I have a little girl sevewn months old she is my third child but the guidelines changes with her so I breastfed for 6 months now she wont eat much at all tried al the usual stuff and the most she will have is a spoon full but she is feeding from the breast constantly I just wondered if anyone has had this before and what people would suggest I try to do thanks

the good thing about waiting til they're 6 months old is that you don't need to do spoons and puree and all that. just put food on her high chair tray and let her feed herself. she may just surprise you. have a look at babyledweaning.com for some ideas and lots of cool photos.

sounds like she is just not ready for solids yet - its still very very early days

keep breastfeeding and only offer occasionally to see if she is interested, or wait till she reaches out for things you are eating?

thanks for your help and advice she opens her mouth for food now but she is still constantly feeding after reading your links it seems i dont need to be to worried thanks

DD my second of 3 refused any food till 10 months, all in all it was much easier, straight to eating what the rest of us had. i wouldn't worry at all (although I did at the time)

thanks for that she ate a bit of potato of my plate yesterday so i am going to see what else she tries of mine this week,
its not enough to keep her going but at least its a step in the right direction
