just got dd to take bottle after trying for 3 months! (shes nearly 7 months)

however food is now the issue - she takes a closed mouth appoach to food and and open mouthed one to everything else (inluding baubles!)

so apart from glitter she aint getting much in the way of food. she eill put peices of cooked carrot in her mouth but is not interested in purees

oh and hv is 'worried' so feel like the pressures on..

any tips ... should i try blw any good first finger food ideas??

Have you tried letting her suck it off your finger? Or giving her an empty spoon to play with, then one with a tiny bit of food on? Sorry if you have!

so she won't do puree but she likes proper solid food? then sounds like BLW is the way to go!

have a look at babyledweaning.com for lots of ideas.

you can start with pretty much anything, maybe broccoli florets? carrot sticks? peach segments? nectarine segments?

you don't have to do purees at all. dd is 7 months and has never had a puree.
