defrosting chicken things??

I'm about to make annabel Karmel's chicken and apple balls to give to ds as finger food. The recipe makes 20 and she says they can be frozen but not sure what to do with them when I get them out of the freezer. They will be fully cooked before freezing and can be served cold, so am I ok to just get them out of the freezer and defrost them thoroughly in the fridge?

I would heat them up before serving but as long as they have been cooked and then defrosted thoroughly you should be ok.

Not sure - but have you got the recipe please?

If they're thoroughly cooked before hand, can be served cold etc, they should be OK to defrost & serve (like frozen quiche etc).

Wondered about this, so perhaps I should blast them in the microwave to be sure I've killed any bugs?

Recipe sounds v,tasty:
1 large granny smith apple, 2 large chicken breasts, 1 onion, fresh parsley and thyme, 2oz white breadcrumbs, plain flour for coating and oil fro frying.

Grate apple and squeeze excess moisture out. Mix wiht chunks of chicken, chopped onion, herbs and breadcrumbs and roughly chop in food processor for a few seconds.

Roll into about 20 little balls, roll in flour and fry in shallow oil for about 5 mins until golden and cooked through.
