Avocados

Was going to serve avocado tomorrow, but just read in a book, that it can be a bit rich on its own and is better mixed. Just wondered whether other mums served it on its own or tended to mix it and if so what with?

I used to mash with Kiwi fruit - but then I read that kiwi fruit can cause allergies! .
Other variations were avacado and banana, and avacado spread on toast

avacado and bananas is yummy and very good for them. Avacado and papaya I have a vague memory of going down well too. Or maybe I'm thinking of banana and papaya?

I did it for ds with banana - so yummy, try it yourself, it's like an odd smoothie. BUT he then did tiny bright green pools of puke all over my carpet as he rolled around happily! Be warned

He's certainly quite creative in his ability to spread it all over!

dd likes to eat pear and avocado - a slice of each in both hands - very funny and tastes good too!
