hi not sure if this is the place to post but need some advice regarding a fussy eater.

ds1 will be 3 in a fortnight. he was weaned on homemade dinners and was a great eater. fast forward to now and all he wants is honey sandwiches and sausages and noodles and sausages and rice.

tonight I set down breaded fish with pasta and sweetcorn. he recoiled in horror as if it might jump of the plate and bite him looking to know where his sausages and noodles are.

im starting to think he might have a fear of different food or something.

Anyone any advice on how to turn this around?

tia

How do you deal with it when he refuses food OP?

Please don't worry too much. My DS would only eat cheese sandwiches at 4, now the only thing he will refuse is fresh tomatoes and courgettes and he'll eat those at a push.

Have a look at the book My Child Won't Ear by Carlos Gonzalez and there are lots of threads on fussy eaters if you search the MN archive Smile

Could you try mixing in a different food with his noodles or would he just leave them?
