Has anyone used this and can tell me what forms a normal portion. The packet says one spoon (is that one feeding/teaspoon?) to ten spoons of milk. But is that enough for one 'meal or do you make more? Any advice/help much appreciated!

I haven't used this product, but if your baby is 6 months plus then I would just make it up to whatever consistency you think is ok. As for quantities, I would just be led by your baby. Give her a few baby spoons and see how she gets on. It'll soon be clear if she wants more or has had enough. As a rough guide, their stomachs are about the size of their fist, so bear that in mind.

I agree, when I first used it I followed it VERY precisely but as time went by I just mixed up whatever seemed right for dd. I also mixed it with some fruit of veg to change it up. It's great for thickening purees that are a bit too runny.
If you're using formula milk you can just mix up a little to start with & if that goes make up some more? Obviously not as easy if you need to express!
