Days "off" when weaning

I'm into the third week of weaning doing pure veg Or fruit purées but will It hurt baby or the process of I don't do it for a couple of days and stick to milk and then resume?

We interrupted it from time to time - weekend away, me being ill, DD being ill - and it didn't seem to do any harm.

Yeah, I had quite a few breaks at the beginning, and even up until around 9 months we might have a day or two where I missed out a meal and just gave extra milk if it was more conveninet.
