Returning to work & need to drop 2 more feeds in the next 3 weeks

My 9 month old's day looks like this:

7am .. wake & bf
8am ... breakfast
9am ... bf & nap
12:30pm ... lunch
4:30pm ... bf
6:00pm ... dinner
7:30pm ... bf & bed

I need to drop the 9am and the 4:30pm bf in the next 3 weeks. I'll probably start with dropping the 4:30pm bf in order to keep the morning nap - the 9am bf is essential at the moment for that.

Should I be replacing one or both with formula? I've no idea how much!
And when do I introduce snacks?

I plan to keep the morning and bedtime bfs after returning to work...

I'd probably replace them both with formula in a cup - maybe 3-4oz.

I replaced my DD's late afternoon bottle with a yogurt a week before she started nursery. It went down well with her, no issues at all!

Why formula in a cup? Just curious as my 9mo has a very similar amount and I would also like to cut down.
Does yours feed in the night as well? I'm worried if I cut her day feeds she will compensate at night Shock

When I went back to work after DS I tried introducing forumla in a cup and he wouldn't touch it so I offered him a snack instead of milk and he was fine. He had a bf on waking and just before bed and he didn't wake up in the night to compensate for less bfs in the day.

I will be going back to work earlier this time round though so I am expressing when I can and will also be trying to introduce formula in the next couple of weeks for the day time feeds as my boobs are not keen on expressing so not sure I'll have enough milk.
