Does this sound right for a 7mo?

DS has been weaning for a few weeks now, I'm a terrible cook so has baby jars, doctors also think he has a cow's milk allergy. His eating routine is:

7-8: Wakes up for the day
8-9am: Breakfast which is usually fruit and 8oz of soya milk
11-1pm: nap 30 mins to 1hr 30mins
12.20-2pm: lunch and 8oz
3-5pm: nap 1hr ish
5-7pm: Dinner and 8oz
8-9pm: 5oz then bed.

Just wondering if this ok for him, gonna try on fingers foods in a few weeks too.

Feedback/advice would be great xxx

When you say the doctor thinks he has an allergy, have you had him tested? Is it soya milk infant formula you are using?

My understanding is that 75% of calories for an under 12 month old should come from breast milk or formula. Eating is really about exploring food and new tastes at this stage. Does he seem happy? Is he doing plenty of pooey and wet nappies?

Every baby is different but these questions are some of the ones I would want to understand if I were in your shoes.

He's being tested in October, he's on soya milk at the moment.

He seems fine in himself, plenty of wet nappies and at least 1 dirty nappy a day. Think I've just worried myself reading others routines and its completely different to mine.

Thank for your feedback by the way Rural x

My dd is 7mo and her routine is similar although she goes to bed earlier. What are you worried about in particular?

Just that he's not eating enough or too much..properly just being a worry wart. I've tried to get my DS to bed earlier....he just gets wiggly x
