Hi Aitch

I've got a new finger food for you....polenta. I was flicking through the NCT weaning, which I bought before I found out about BLW, and found loads of really good ideas for food which I quite fancy myself so must be good.

We tried ready made polenta tonight with some cheese melted on it and it was ok. The Bubs however LOVED it. It was solid enough for her to pick up, but soft enough for it to break off into her mouth. The NCT book tells you to make it from scratch, and add oregano and parmesan Mmmmm. There are loads of other nice sounding recipes too...

Thought you might want to try it out and list it rather than have the idea lost in another thread.

well then miss jennt,
feel free to email me at the address on the site (click on my name) with your delicious-sounding recipe and I will put it up alongside Mawbroon's oatcakes and Hub2dee's porridge pancakes...
Personally i will need advice as to the exact brand of polenta that you use as i find it very mysterious. i never understand what the ready-made stuff is, is that just the grain that you don't have to steam? so give it to me step by step and i'll have a chance.
sorry i didn't see this earlier, have been tweaking the site a tad (and was supposed to be getting on with some work.)

Sorry, back at work, exhausted up 3 times last night,erm......

I used ready made because I couldn't find dried. Morrisons Tesco and Booths don't keep it. Will get back to you.
