Is it ok to give almond milk to a seven months old? That's it really smile.

It would be ok to use in cooking as an ingredient but not ok to give as a main drink. The only things that should be given as a main drink under 1 yr is breast milk or formula milk.

Thank you Ex. I would like to use it to make porridge. DC is on solids but still being bf.

Is there a reason that you wouldn't use cows milk for cereal?

I was told by the dietician it was fine as am ingredient or on cereal from 6 months but not as a milk drink till a year. I specifically checked if it was the same guidelines as cows milk as dd2 is allergic and I don't think either of us could stand the idea of neocate on her cereal! (Dietician agreed with us on that one!)
