Dd is 9 months old and since she was small I have wanted to avoid getting her weighed by health visitors and falling into the trap of stressing if she hadn't followed the right curve. Every now and again I've jumped on the scales with her to check myself - for the first 6 months she raced up through the centiles (from 25th to around 75th). But she's still the same approx weight as she was 3 months ago.
In that time I have stopped bf her during the day, she is starting to eat solids but it's a bit of a struggle to get anything other than sweet potato and yoghurt into her, and she is crawling like a maniac.
She's a really happy, smiley, active little girl and so it hasn't even crossed my mind that things might not be quite right but seeing her weight today has really thrown me.
My logical head is telling me she's just burning loads of energy and her eating hasn't quite caught up yet but I can't help but worry - I'm now in exactly the position I wanted to avoid!!
Does anyone have any ideas about this?
