Anyone else baby just stopped eating in this heat?

Just that really. Poor DD is 9mo and not a happy bunny in the heat. She'll have a decent breakfast of porridge and fromage frais but eating practically nothing for lunch then only a tiny amount for dinner.

She's never had a huge appetite. We've just started replacing some morning and afternoon milk feeds with solid snacks (she is naturally dropping them I think, I always offer boob first) but she's not interested in these either.

She is bfing lots atm which is what makes me think it might be the heat. However, she is also teething so could be this as well.

Please tell me this is normal!

Exactly the same happening with my DD (10 months). Think it's normal. I am breast feeding lots too and offering things like cold strawberries. Sure they'll be back to normal when the usual British summer returns!

Yup. 12m DS only really eating fruit and breas-milk, sometimes crackers or porridge. The volume and variety of food he will eat has massively reduced the last two weeks. I'm trying to relax about it and hope his normal eating habits will return in time. Annoyingly he's started waking to feed at 1/2am though when he used to sleep through!

Totally normal. Ds is 21 months and has had a number of hot days when he's done the same - decent breakfast then hardly anything else.

I'm the same, I eat a lot les when it's hot, do I just think why should he be any different!
