needing new food ideas

I would really appreciate some suggestions on different fruit purees i could do to give to my 6 1/2 month. I was thinking of strawberries but not quite sure on the age for them. I Just want to expand his tastes a bit.
Also if anybody has some new savoury ideas that would also be appreciated.

What's he tried so far? Mashed banana and avocado works well.

Hi he's had. Banana, pear, apple, peach. He will eat anything if its on a spoon he's not fussy lol

No reason why he can't have strawberries. There isn't much to avoid at this age really. Apart from whole nuts and honey obviously Smile

There are sone good weaning recipes on MN here, think your Lo might like the chicken and apricot Smile

How are the finger foods going? My DC loved cheese straws at that age.

How is breakfast going too? Thought you might like this thread Smile

The first things that really got DD eating at that age were peach, plum and nectarine, which seem to be coming back in to season again. I used to just mash them up a bit rather then completely puree them.
