Yes I freeze mash in big batches (along with all over left overs) so I can be lazy. In fact, stocks are getting low we've been living out of it recently. I wouldn't give dd ready made, it is such a weird texture compared to the stuff you make. Use one hour and have 4 saucepans on the go, potato, sweet potato, lentils and bolognaise then you are always good to go. (Even can be supremely lazy- I just fed dd mash mixed with tinned sardines and tinned sweet corn as we've been out all day so no time to do anything else.
