Agree its 300 ml of full fat cows milk per day from 12 to 24 months so once she's 12 months you can ditch the bottles and the formula anyway. If she's nearly one, why not drop one of her bottles now and see how you get on?
both mine were down to 2 milk feeds by that age. You could try offering milk in a cup alongside breakfast, offer milk in a cup mid morning (or cut that one out) and then keep the bedtime bottle for the moment. Once they reach 1 year they only need around 300mls and that includes milk on cereal, other dairy, etc
my dd is same age and is cutting back on milk too. i have added more dairy into her meals to compensate. i figure she isn't going to drink bottles of milk forever, and is just growing up. but I'm not really up with baby nutrition. i hope someone here can tell us what we should be doing.
Hi, our almost 1 yr old DD has become very fussy with her morning & lunchtime bottle. She has 7 ozs morning, lunchtime & bedtime. She flaps at the bottle and pushes it away & I really struggled to get her to take 3-4 ozs this morning. She is well grown & enjoys her food. We do a mixture of BLW and spoon feeding. Is this normal? Should we switch to a cup & let her drink her milk from that?? Any advice would be gratefully received.
