BLW - How often should I offer food when starting?

Hi just a quick question.

I started BLW with 24 week old DD two days ago and have been amazed at how she's taken to it. Seems to be gumming everything I give her and poos are proving that she's actually swallowing which I hadn't expected.

I've just naturally been giving her food at every mealtime and it suddenly occurred to me that this might be a bit of a sudden influx after nothing but milk. Today (day 3) for instance she had toast and some porridge for breakfast, carrots, green beans and red peppers for lunch and roasted parsnip and sweet potato for dinner.

Should I be only offering once or twice a day or does it not matter? She seems fine with it so far.

I just offered whatever I was eating when I was eating - no idea if thatt is "right" or not Grin

Just like itsallgoingtobefine, I offered some of whatever I was having, when I was having it. To be honest, DD didn't really give me a choice. She complained so much when I was eating that I had to give her some. Stopped me eating crisps and other rubbish though!
