BLW and eating out

We've just started BLW with 6mo DD. At home it's fine, but what do you do about mess when out? I'm thinking of other people's houses as well as cafes; we have a moppable kitchen floor but I don't want to mess up my friends' carpets!

I just sweep it up with my hands or a baby wipe.

I have a splashmat which goes under the high chair - and don't give them anything really messy - strips of chicken/ veg / bread is fine when not at home
