I have 3 children and the first two have had food issues (started them at 18 weeks and 22 weeks respectively). Wanted to make sure dd3 didn't have same issues. Started her later than the others but 3 weeks in (nearly 7 months)', we have barely got through acceptance of first tastes. In fact, she seems to have. That tongue reflex thing almost food seems to be spat out than swallowed. Exhausted already and now soooo cannot be bothered. But defo want this one to have a better range of foods than the other 2 (still got major issues with 2.5 yr old.). Am so fed up with it but going back to work in 3 weeks. Dd3 also seems a bit weaker in the back than my other 2 were at that age. But have had to keep her 'safe' as dd and ds have a tendency to be a bit over enthusiastic with the baby so she can't have free rein of the floor if you like. Poo!
Hi kind of do baby led weaning once they r able but dd3 can't seem to realise you need to put this stuff in her mouth yet. She looks at the food and is dropping it on floor - can only give her chunks of food if I hold it to her mouth. Even then, most spat out.put her in high chair, but she slumps v quickly. Tried her with some yoghurt tho and that went down well! Normal food seems to be spat out..... Can't work out if ready or not!!
