DD is 17mo. I never in a million years thought I'd be posting this as I was having the opisit problem a fewmonths ago.
She used to bf every 2 hours, until I became pregnant and my milk dried up, so she replaced the milk with food.
Basically she just doesn't stop eating. She constantly asks me for 'yum yums.' I can not go into the kitchen without her screaming at me for food. It's not like she even wants unhealthy food all the time, she's happy with anything. If I don't give it to her, she screams and screams.
Today (a typical day) she had:
Breakfast: a slice of wholemeal toast with butter and big bowl of shredded wheat type cereal.
Morning snacks (not all at once): grapes, banana, 3 rice cakes, hot cross bun, yoghurt
Lunch: 2 mashed potato broccoli, onion and carrot bubble and squeak pancakes.
Afternoon snacks: more grapes, huge chunk of cheese, 2 bread sticks, 2 cherry tomatoes
Dinner: (junk night! Normally somethig healthier!) home-made chicken nuggets, home-made oven chips and peas.
Evening snacks: 1 rice cake, two bowls of porridge, a biscuit.
Should I restrict her food more? Shes quite skinny except for her stomach which actually looks like a pregnant stomach, Iykwim? Or is this just normal for her age?
