Hello all!

My name is Laura, and I am the manager of the Card Aid shop in St Mary Abbotts church. Card Aid are a really wonderful organisation, who sell cards to support a whole range of charities, from Educate a Child in Africa, to the Cancer Fund, to Peace and Reconciliation, to Give the Gift of Sight, to Alzheimer's Research, to The Diabetic Fund, etc!

For more info on the organisation, please see www.cardaid.co.uk/

I am currently looking for a couple of volunteers to help me run the shop – to sell cards and help with publicity, basically, to make sure as many packs get sold in the run-up to Xmas as possible.

Volunteers can give as much or as little time as they wish. The shop is open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm, and it would just be lovely to have some extra pairs of hands (and some extra minds) to help out.

Would this be of interest to anyone? Or, if not, does anyone in the Kensington area have a suggestion of where I could find some volunteers?

Thanks!

Laura
