Disney infinity questions...

Does anyone have this? What is it exactly, i get that you can play as the different characters as you buy them, and they have their own mini games etc...

I have a 6 yr old and two 3 yr olds, the 3 yr olds wouldn't really play on it but is it good for 6yrs?
Any tips or advice welcome!

I dont think it is supposed to be very good. Skylanders is supposed to be better

Yes its not brilliant. Game play wise skylanders is a much better game. Both are expensive though as they are bringing out new characters and different games that need special (read expensive) characters all the time that you 'need' to get into exclusive areas that you cant otherwise conplete without.

Either is fine for that age range though. My 4 yeae old has no problem playing.

Disney Infinity 2.0 will be better than the original because of the ability to use Marvel and Star Wars figs.
A new Skylanders will be coming out in November ish. If you buy an older version the new figures won't work.

I have a 7 year old who plays with the Skylanders figures but finds the game boring. We haven't tried Infinity because he's never been the biggest
Disney fan.

With Disney Infinity you can't access huge parts of the game without buying the right characters.

At least with Skylanders you can access all the main game start to finish with what you get in the box. If you want access to every part you do need to buy a few more characters for Skylanders too though.

Our Infinity has barely been played with while the whole family have played Skylanders.
