Hi everyone Im new here, just wondering if you can help me. Ive been looking for reveiws on the park resort at Barmston beach bridlington and I cant find any anywhere Lol has anyone been there, would you reccomend it? I have 3 young children 6 3 and 18 months and am after a beach holiday with the usual kids discos entertainment in the evening. Can anyone help? thanks

I can't find any reviews either - but I suppose that at least means it's not terrible.

Thanks oldlady lol Thats what I thought, if it was really bad then people would be complaining wouldnt they, so it must be a good sign. Just seems strange that theres loads of reveiws for the other park resorts and not a single one for this one Lol Would just make me feel a bit better to see what other people who have been think of it.

Maybe it's new, and in the first season? In which case, everything will be fresh and new and lovely and the staff will all be utterly inexperienced and more interested in yakking than working unjaded and enthusiastic.

I suppose you can only try?

Pmsl oldlady! Had a bit of a break thru, found out more about the place and it turns out that its not really what we're after. I hadnt seen the pit no their website that said 'compare site entertaiment' doh! Wen I looked at this I saw that Barmston beach has non of the sparkys krew shows etc and thats what we are want for the evenings cuz we have young children who love all that stuff (been to Butlins a few times and they love it, cant afford that this year tho ) So we are now torn between Califfornia Cliffs in Yarmouth and Cayton Bay Scarborough, they both have what we're looking for a good beach and evening entertainment for the kids. The reviews for both are pretty good too just need to decide now Lol

We went a few weeks ago (beg. May). They do have a Sparkys crew but the one night we went into the bar there were only about 10 people in the whole place so it was quite crap. I should imagine it will be better when it's busy. My ds got a Sparkeys crew t-shirt and some other goodies even though he isn't even old enough for the club, i think cos it was so quiet they wanted something to do

Thanks Pheonix didnt think I was ever gonna find anyone who had been there Lol awww glad your little boy was happy with his Sparky's Krew goodies. Think its quite a quiet resort anyway (from what I gather from the website) so I imagine out of season it would be even more so. Gosh only 10 people!! Good on the staff tho for still putting on a show, dont blame u for leaving tho, cant emagin there was much of an atmosphere there. Think we're all set on Callifornia Cliffs now tho. I spoke to my dad and he says that altho Bridlington and Scarborough are both lovely places there not really on a par with Yarmouth for being family beach resorts, no pleasure beach etc. I have a 6and a half and a almost 4 year old who would be dissapointed with a quieter resort. They loved Skeggy and Ive been told that Yarmouth is on a par with that for the kids. Ive not been since I was about 8 so I cant really remember, that was a few years ago! Lol
