What sort of thing did you have in mind, janx?

s/c? Holiday park? Cottage? Hotel? Will you be driving or travelling by train?

Do you know the area? Sheringham is similiar to Cromer, Wells Next the sea is v nice.

You could search this site and see if there is anything that suits: www.glavenvalley.co.uk/gv/sections/sectaccom.php

Hi Blu
We are looking for self catering - am driving up from London. Don't really know the area - was recommended a place by my neighbours but it was full. Will look at site - thanks. Where have you stayed?

My Mum lives in Norfolk!

What sort of thing do like in a holiday?

North Norfolk's best points are wide open spaces, salt marsh and quite wild beaches, for birdwatching, walking etc. On the other hand, Cromer and Sheringham are little Victorian resort towns, with beaches that are part sand part shingle.

Any of the coastal villages are lovely, really, but apart from Cromer and Sheringham, are not right by the beach. At Wells there is a big car park right by a wonderful beach, and Wells is a nice little ex fishing town.

Sheringham has things like a big indoor Splash pool, but N Norfolk isn't great for 'attractions'.

I would phone Cromer tourist info office and ask them for suggestions; they will have lots of s/c listings.

There is a zoo in Cromer, Amazona. It might just about be walking distance from town centre.

Steam railway in Sheringham is another suitable thing to do.
