Looking for self catering near to Motherwell-any recommendations

Hi we have to go and visit ILs in Feb half term. They live in small village Kirkmuirhill, and in 1 bedroom bungalow.
We are a family of 5 and can't stay there, so am looking for a self catering house or something for 4 nights. Don't really want a hotel as will have to eat out all the time thus making it very expensive.

Just hoping that someone might have some ideas.

TIA

Motherwell is not really a holiday destination so not as much to choose from, what sort of distance are you willing to travel? The good thing is they stay near the M74 so you can stay a lot further north or south and it won't take too long to get there.

Found this one in motherwell itself.

Thanks for that scrimbo, have emailed for a quote. Hope it won't be too much. Don't really want to travel more than 45 mins each way if can help it.

They will expect us to go and see them everyday and normally from 9-6 so all day.

Can I ask why you want Motherwell specifically?

Wondering if there might be something out Strathaven way or down the Clyde Valley or even Hamilton might be closer?

Unless you'd like to stay in Motherwell for some reason? Or I've got Kirkmuirhill confused? Isn't it near Blackwood?

yes its near blackwood and just picked motherwell as a starting point. DH doesn't really want to spend a lot of the day travelling back and forth to see his parents. Tensions run high between us as it is, last time we stayed up at Haven in Ayr and wasn't a good experience at all.

Inlaws have suggested we could all share a bedroom in one of their friends houses. Not ideal as 5 in one room, and we don't know the friends, plus DS has SN and is strange when he is at a new place.
Thanks for your help and please keep on suggesting accomm.

Thanks
