Going to Butlins in Bognor for half term week - was this an insane choice?

DD is 2y 9mo, DH has no flexibility on his leave dates and I discovered at the last minute my passport has expired. I booked butlins at bognor without much thought as I was panicking that everywhere would be booked up with it being half term week and I wanted somewhere with plenty of entertainment for DD. Now, having just caught an episode of "redcoats" on sky I'm wondering if I've made a mistake. IS it going to be awful? Has anyone done butlins at half term? I've never even been to a butlins in my life, please advise!
